We’re excited to present our latest project: a complete transformation of a beloved family restaurant in Drniš. This renovation reimagines every part of the space – from the floors to the mezzanine – infusing it with sophistication, warmth, and a touch of luxury. Our vision was to create a space that’s not only visually captivating but deeply rooted in local tradition and the sense of community that this restaurant has fostered for generations.
The initial condition of the space called for a comprehensive overhaul due to its outdated design and limited functionality. We approached the challenge by selecting natural materials, such as solid wood and microcement, which provide both durability and authenticity. A central table, complete with built-in greenery, became a focal point, symbolizing the spirit of gathering and family. This was further accentuated with a ceramic “rug” that adds both character and significance to the space.
Each design detail was meticulously crafted – antique mirror wall panels bring depth to the interior, while sophisticated lighting enhances textures and defines distinct areas, creating a luxurious, intimate ambiance. A crystal chandelier, strategically placed at the center, captures attention and lends an elegant touch, visible from both the ground floor and the mezzanine.
The design process was a true collaboration, involving close communication with the investor to co-create a space that aligns with a contemporary aesthetic while honoring family roots and local tradition. Our dedication to detail and the atmosphere has resulted in a unique experience for guests – from cozy, intimate gatherings to a harmonious blend of old and new that inspires.
The restaurant is now open year-round, catering to both locals and tourists, offering a welcoming space to relax and enjoy an exceptional dining experience. The concept invites every visitor to enjoy a refined yet warm environment, inspiring them to return.
