On the beautiful island of Krk, in the tranquil village of Sveti Anton, a unique vacation home with a pool will soon rise, perfectly combining modern design and respect for the rich cultural and historical heritage. Situated on three cadastral plots, this tourist oasis promises luxury and comfort in an idyllic setting.
This carefully designed house will cover approximately 120 square meters of net floor area, spread over the ground floor and one upper floor (G+1). The interior will include a spacious kitchen with a dining area, an elegant living room, two comfortable bedrooms, a functional study, and a small spa with a sauna and a relaxation area with a shower. Each room is designed to provide maximum comfort and enable guests to relax and enjoy.
The exterior features modern lines and natural materials that blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. The pool, located next to the house, is carefully designed to fit into the cultural and historical context. Although in-ground pools are restricted due to cultural and historical preservation, steps have been taken to obtain special approval from the Conservation Department in Rijeka. The initial feedback is positive, which encourages us to continue with the plans. In addition to the pool, simple yet functional open covered structures are planned, which will not require special permits but will significantly enhance the quality of stay.
Heating will be provided by a heat pump, offering an economical and environmentally friendly solution. Solar panels will not be used due to visual and conservation constraints, although solar tiles were considered, but their efficiency was deemed insufficient, and the cost too high.
The estimated value of this investment is slightly over 200,000 euros. Although there are no strict deadlines, the project is planned to start next year. Preparatory work, including clearing the land, constructing boundary walls towards the existing property, and stabilizing the threshing floor, has already begun.
This project promises not only luxurious accommodation but also harmony with nature and the historical environment, creating a place where the past and present meet in perfect harmony.
